Welcome,
Lakers fans.

Overview

Crowdzilla turned two Lakers game-night panoramas into a browser experience fans could make their own. Visitors chose the view corresponding to their side of the arena, zoomed in to find themselves, tagged their place, and shared a personal link with friends.

Captured during Lakers vs. Heat at Staples Center, the activation gave the energy in the arena a life beyond game night.

Production

Two panoramas. A view from each side.

We chose two panoramas, photographed from opposite sides of the arena. Fans could click between views to see the side where they were sitting, then zoom in to find themselves.

Capture and postproduction

Overlapping frames were stitched into detailed, zoomable panoramas. Crowdzilla brought the photography, image production, interactive experience and launch support together.

Arena screens and Lakers social channels invited fans to take part, with tagging tied to a Lakers–Clippers ticket giveaway.
